Robotic Surgery Training Center

Surgeons who come to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for training on the da Vinci® S Surgical System are taught in the medical center's Clinical Research and Training Center, which has hosted research activity for more than 50 years. Numerous experiments involving new devices and surgical techniques have been conducted there.
The robotic training center, which opened Aug. 15, 2006, offers training for minimally invasive procedures that are also conducted in the hospital. Specialties include cardiac, adult urology, pediatric urology, gynecology, gynecologic oncology and general surgery.
Please contact our Training Coordinator Constance McKoy for more information or to sign up for a training seminar.
